Andy Warhol, 48x36

$6,900.00

Mixed media on canvas

by Sara Kissing

A vibrant homage to Andy Warhol, referencing his birth name, Andrew Warhola Jr., and the world he built. Warhol appears with his iconic Polaroid camera, surrounded by handwritten quotes, nods to The Factory, and layered pop textures. The line “Art is what you can get away with” anchors the piece. Gold leaf and epoxy add depth and reflection, echoing his obsession with fame, repetition, and surface as the painting shifts and comes alive in changing light.

About Sara Kissing

Sara Kissing, MFA is an internationally exhibiting pop artist known for richly layered mixed-media paintings infused with symbolism, storytelling, and real gold. Her niche is Pop Art, but each subject is deeply researched — incorporating historical facts, playful details, hidden references, and occasional quotes that reflect the character’s legacy and personality. Kissing intentionally weaves unexpected elements into her work, such as fun facts, humor, angel numbers, and subtle personal signatures — including her dog’s name, Baba, and symbolic references to food — to invite viewers to slow down, explore, and engage.

With a Master’s degree in Fine Arts and nearly two decades of experience as a brand manager and creative director in advertising and corporate environments, Kissing brings a strong narrative and visual strategy to her art practice. Her work has been exhibited at the New York Art Expo, Red Dot Miami during Art Basel Week (2024 & 2025), and at the Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, where she exhibited alongside Banksy. Locally, she collaborates with Clive Daniel Home across Florida and Natuzz IItalia, creating exclusive collections such as Italian Legends and Music Legends, developed for high-end marketing, showroom installations, and collector audiences.
